Gennum makes integrated circuts for hearing aids, amongst other things. They also have several Barflies in their ranks. Can you name the artist and tune they use on this ad?

Pat Lackenbauer
Pat is the artist whose work can be seen all over Rob Szabo's A Battery Of Tests. He's also a strong supporter of the arts. Check out his fine website.

Popular Minority.com
A loose musical community that marries technology with art. Their slogan... "A world without music is a world without meaning". Amen!

Roger Travassos
Roger was the original drummer for Plasticine and is now the drummer for Remy Shand. He is also a pretty cool guy.

Basement Bar Head Bartender
Alex Erasmi

Alex Erasmi likes music way too much for his own good.

It’s an obsession really. While his family and friends remain concerned, Alex continues to allow music to dominate his life and his soul.

Born in a house filled with the sounds of Verdi, Rossini and Mozart, among his first possessions was a record player and mixed in with his Sesame Street and Dr. Suess records could be found LPs by each of the composers listed above. His dad had high hopes.

A couple of older kids that lived across the street introduced the impressionable young lad to the sounds of Led Zeppelin, The Who and Queen and nothing was ever quite the same...including his dad.

Over the next few years, Alex played in bands (not very well), was a D.J. at dances in bars and clubs, managed bands, interviewed musicians, reviewed music, wrote a regular local music column for an urban weekly in his hometown of Hamilton, Ontario. He also became the Canadian Music Guide for a large American Internet search engine. During all this he managed to study music history in university and radio broadcasting in college.

Alex has hosted concerts in his home and even took his long suffering wife Michelle to the residence of legendary fifties/sixties rock and roller Ronnie Hawkins on their Honeymoon!

His new Web site Basementbar.net is not only the culmination of a lifetime of musical consumption; it has become the home to others who share his addiction. Basement Bar is not only a testament to a guy who has collected more music than he will ever be able to listen to in his remaining years, it is also a great place to find out about some cool music from a guy who has nothing better to do but to comb the world looking for it.
