This is Rob Szabo's first CD. The Groove Daddys were a power trio with a reputation as accomplished players with a killer live act. Long unavailable, a box of these highly collectable gems was recently unearthed and now you can only find them right here at the Basement Bar!

The Groove Daddys' 1995 sophomore effort was an evolution from the first. The tunes were more ambitious and the sounds they achieved in the studio were richer and deeper. Also notable for Rob Szabo's only recorded cover, a stunning version of Rush's "Subdivisions". Essential stuff!

The band's second and final outing was the explosive culmination of Steve Strongman and Rob Szabo’s musical partnership. Harder rocking and more driving than its predecessor, Public Address System saw Strongman come into his own as a songwriter and Szabo's compositional skill grow exponentially.

Rob Szabo's now OUT OF PRINT, 2005 gem is a conceptual "double sided E.P." on a single CD. Made up of six songs, this one is divided into an acoustic half and an electric half and is packed with more examples of Rob's never ending gifts as a songwriter. Includes the original rock version of "We're All Alcoholics" and the original mix of "Good Son".
